Our Easter celebrations began last weekend at Nana and Papa's house. My mom had a lovely dinner after church and we celebrated Easter as well as my Grandpa's birthday. Mom always does an Easter egg hunt for us with clues that lead to our Easter basket. My grandpa used to do this out on the farm every year, and now Mom has taken it over.
On Tuesday Jill brought Fletcher and Brynlee over for our 3rd Annual Egg-Dying Extravaganza! :) It was so fun to watch the kids this year. They really had a good time. The mommies had fun catching up too.
This morning we went to church and Sunday School. When we got home, my parents came over and Chad grilled. Payton opened her basket from the Easter bunny which included her first fishing pole!! After lunch, we did a little egg hunt in the back yard. Payton did great getting all the eggs. I think I had put out about 30 or so! :)
We ended the day with a little sidewalk chalk compliments of the Easter bunny. What a great Easter! We sure have been blessed.
